I hope you like today’s Modern Showcase for 5 Color Humans. I got everyone’s feedback on short gameplay videos in the past. The most popular request was an intro, with one loss and one win, followed by a recap.

Don’t worry, this won’t take the place of the 5-match leagues you enjoy! I just don’t play every deck for 5 matches or only get a few good games, so I hope this can become a good way for me to provide some additional content while reaching a broader audience. I personally prefer the whole league. I get background noise, and you get to farm watch time

i think the build works better whitout prayers but with norin and a more creature focused manabase (5c lands)

If the league was drawn out and boring I don't mind watching the best 2 matches. I prefer the whole league, but nice to have a short video to watch often enough that this should be a regular thing

I'd like to point out, I built this last minute in tacoma for the hell of it to play at a recq. I didn't even have suncleansers on me. The fact people looked at this as a "tuned prayers list" is funny but wrong lmao.

Truthfully I like short term content because constructed magic is easier for me to follow than the Wild West of commander . Which I’m a fan of both but after an hour commander video, straight to the point constructed is a good break

Love Satoru. Been looking for a competitive shell w him. Could you just sub out the 4 Imperial Recruiter for Recruiter of the Guard and cut out red altogether to help the mana base a bit?

Despite their non-existence in the format, I still absolutely love Modern Humans.

Currently trying to brew around with Esper Humans (It's primarily white, but splashes for stuff like Satoru, Jirina, and Lavinia). It's main idea is to max out on Charming Prince and Extraction Specialist (As that combo is a good way to recover from boardwipes/scam, while offering overall stability thanks to the life gain). As for removal, it's also packing in Solitude/Ephemerate (As Solitude is searchable with Recruiter, and Ephemerate is good in it's own right with the majority of the deck), but can always go into Skyclave/Deputy/Reflection Mage for additional options). And thanks to Extraction Specialist, Flare of Denial isn't all that bad of a sideboard option either.

After watching the deck tech This is just a little too jank for me, but I did spot a temur liust using Greenbelt Rampager with Primal Prayers which seems a lot more streamlined.

The mana base is a pain in the ass. I dont really like the enchatment here
