This is a star wars video about video games, but not jedi fallen order or jedi survivor with cal kestis or battlefront 2 by ea and dice, the force unleashed, or even lego star wars the skywalker saga. I hope that game has characters from the clone wars, the bad batch season 2, The Mandalorian season 3, Obi-Wan Knobi, Andor, and ahsoka. I sure do love the prequel trilogy, sequel trilogy, and original trilogy as well.

Fun fact about Shadows of the Empire:

It’s not JUST a game. It was a multimedia project that Lucasfilm funded in 1996 to prime fans for interest in the upcoming Special Editions in 1997 and they did it between episode V and VI intended to be an official bridge between the two, with the funding of a movie’s marketing and multimedia campaign, while being everything except a movie. It’s books, the game, and various other things telling the same story.

So yea Shadows of the Empire is an exception because it was supported and funded directly by them at the time

Rogue squadron is one of those games I never had but my one friend had it and we played it every time I went to his house

I would gladly get a Switch if it means I get to experience those games and see how they changed it up. Hopefully that day will come, so I can beat my sibling through Lightsaber combat

I've never played these, but I do wish now the in-atmo missions carried over to Squadrons because it would've probably looked very good, like the Hunted cinematic.

My only complaint with the producers of these games is that from the third onwards they tried to stick ground combat in the games... They didn't understand that what we like about these games are the ships... and only the ships!! I don't want to use a lightsaber... I don't want to shoot a pistol... I want to destroy ships with other ships!!

1:15 That's not a good comparison. Shadows of the Empire was a massive multimedia project made by Lucas Arts itself to try and push the special editions of the OG trilogy when they came out in 97. It was, for all intents and purposes, meant to be a canon fill between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
