Da-Compounds (Part 1) | Da-Komposita (Teil 1)

In this lesson we will be learning Da-Compounds.

You have probably come across the words “darum”, “darüber”, “dafür” etc. very often. What are these words? How are they formed? How are they used? These words are known as “Da-Wörter” or “Da-Compounds”

With the help of various example sentences and contexts, you will learn, how to use them and understand them if they come up while reading or listening something.

Darüber and darauf both mean about it how do you know whichone to use?

I still don't understand which form of da-compounds is used in "Als Korrelat". When do I use darauf, darüber, da-...? Can you please explain it a little bit clearlier? Thank you so much.

Please notice that in the last example sentence of this video, the final verb should be "machen" (Infinitiv) not "mache": 'Das is mein Handy, ich kann ohne mein Handy nichts machen'.
