I think you still can choose to not flip an upgrade since it is not a forced interrupt. The interrupt keyword always has the option of not triggering it unless forced is associated with it.

I think the confuse is gonna be clutch for her because flipping as often as possible will allow pretty consistent big turns. Her AE hand size is 6 so when you flip back over you've got 6 cards and two resources ready to go.

Actually, that might make her really good in leadership because she will be able to afford allies a bit more easily/earlier than most heroes.

I like it. Plenty of room to deck build around and play with. But not overly stronge. Considering she's my favorite x-character, I'm pumped.

I am a bit curious as to why they are releasing 2 justice heros back to back though? They did that with aggression in the garudians cycle as well. Which now has me super curious on what the other hero packs/next box heros will have.

Some of her cards become more powerful with the option of choosing when to use Responses since they are not Forced Responses.

As far as her kit goes, we know that it will at least include the following: 2 Psi-Energy upgrades (Psylocke, 1 and 2); 1 Angel (Psylocke, 3); 3 Flurry of Blades (Psylocke, 4); 3 Mental Detection (Psylocke, 5); unknown [likely 2] Psionic Redirect (Psylocke, 6); 1 Psionic Training (Psylocke, 10); 1 Weapons Training (Psylocke, 11). We don't know 4 of her cards. One is likely a support.

Psylocke is Captain Britain's sister. She is a mutant with psionic abilities, and was originally a white british woman. She's had a few costume changes over the years. Originally she had a very loose fabric type outfit with larger purple hair. I believe she got beaten in a battle pretty bad, and after that wore armour with a hood and cape (my preferred version of her). In the 80s, during a battle, she and other x-men get sucked into a portal called the "Seige Perilous" (if I remember correctly, going by fragmented memories from 80s comics). When she pops up again, she's now in a Japanese body. Similarly, when Colossus reappears, he has a new york accent. I believe the writer wanted to swap all the characters ethnicities, but they stopped there and retconned it. Colossus was easy to fix, it was just an act or something. But Psylocke was a bit harder.

They wrote a story about how her essence was put into another person (or something weird like. I believe the Mandarin was involved) and she became this assassin of sorts. Basically they overhauled her entire character and Japanese Pyslocke was popular from the late 80s until just recently, when the two identities in her were split off, and so now we have original Psylocke back, as well as Japanese looking Psylocke. I haven't read the recently comics, but this is what I've been told. Her whole story is kinda weird, but then, that's basically everyone in the X-men. How Scott Summers hasn't had a mental breakdown is beyond me. Lol.

Psylocke confusing everyone and using that in her favor is the Jean Grey deck we never got. It's a lot easier to describe Psilocke's base mechanic too, and a lot easier to know why you want to bring her to the table.. unlike the messy Fenix deck from the previous wave, where the 3 INT was the most outstanding thing to mention, bc the rest is so situational. Psylocke feels like a psionic player is in the fight now, and a more special asset in the roaster.

Captain Britain with Honorary X-men and Justice Training would be broken! Thwart 5 times for 4 (bye bye side schemes) and if you add One Way or Another it becomes ludicrous.

Psylocke was my more anticipated hero from this new wave and I'm very pleased with what I've seen so far.

That justice side scheme looks awesome as a target for leftover thwarts as a nice source of damage. Almost wish these player side schemes were even more powerful but had an acceleration icon on them or something.

Psylocke seems good, but not TOO good. It looks like they took SP//DER and balanced out the way too strong parts of that kit.

Personally this Psylocke reveal pisses me off...WHERE THE FUCK IS THE CRIMSON MARK FROM THE ANGEL & PSYLOCKE RUN?!?!?!?! Also was really hoping for more love to older X-Force characters like Siryn and Shatterstar

I stopped buying Marvel Champions when they actually released the stupid spider-ham. This pack makes me consider jumping back on train. She looks super fun. Flurry of Blades + Float like a Butterfly is going to feel amazing! Also the pack would singlehandedly make a new confuse-lock deck for Ghost-Spider, who I love. Tempting...
