Extended interview: Golden Globes host Nikki Glaser

So many great takeaways from this interview. She is so vulnerable, yet strong. I love how she admits she made a bad joke about Taylor Swift because she was jealous. How many people admit out loud or even to themselves that they are jealous. You just don’t hear that often.

Another thing I really admire about her is her confidence in her abilities and not acting coy when the interviewer asks, “Are you ready for everyone to analyze if you nailed it or not?” Then her answer without skipping a beat is, “I know this is crazy, but I just know I’m going to…I’m gonna nail it. I have set up a system leading up to it that I couldn’t have worked harder on it…So as long as I set myself up where I’ve worked as hard as I possibly can, I can’t really care when people don’t like it because I couldn’t have done it any differently.” That’s the confidence we need to teach little girls.

Nikki is great. Funny and self aware. She's chatty AF in interviews, but ends up saying some profound and honest things in her stream of consciousness. I feel like she'll have a lot of wisdom to offer younger people in her older ages and just be one of those cool mature woman, so long as she stays active and not let her depressive mind get her down. Keeping on learning in life is important.
