CS4070 | How to Pair with a Bluetooth-enabled Laptop - Tutorial

Here's a quick tutorial on how to pair the CS4070 wireless scanner from Zebra Technologies with a Bluetooth-enabled laptop or workstation. This will enable you to download any information associated with the barcodes you scan using your CS4070 into applications on your laptop.

First, load the battery into your CS4070, and power the device on by pressing the "+" button.

Next, go to the start menu on your laptop and select "Devices and Printers" from the right-hand side of the pop-up window. When the Devices and Printers window opens, click on "Add a Device" from the top of the panel.

Now press the Bluetooth button at the bottom of your CS4070 scanner. The blue indicator light near the button will start blinking, then beep, letting you know that it is broadcasting itself as a discoverable device.

When your laptop recognizes the CS4070, the device will appear in the Devices window, named as "CS4070" with a ":" and the serial number of the device. Click on the CS4070 icon, and your laptop should automatically install the necessary driver software.

When the driver has installed, the CS4070 will beep, indicating that the connection has been made and that it is ready to start scanning.
