This is one of those recordings that you just can’t help but feel something when you listen, maybe joy or euphoria, possibly nostalgia, sadness, loneliness, but this is all that makes music itself. This is absolutely beautiful. He turns simple melodies into light but emotionally deep phrases, and makes the most complex parts look easy. I’m not trying to say it’s easy; he makes it sound so effortless.

Bravo Pablo!! Always love listening to you play. I have to mention, because it was so beautiful, was your performance of the 2nd mvt of the Dvorak concerto for the winners concert of the Tchaikovsky competition. It is absolutely amazing! When I listened to it, I was moved emotionally by your playing. You were probably the only one who was able to set aside the competition and make music. The audience felt it, the orchestra members felt it. It was magical!!!! Thank you!!
