i love this game, my favorite mmo and I played since the release.
Had to stop because after some updates( i think it was the implementation of the Soul Equipment) lag went to the top.
I'll give it a try later, so many great memories on the game :)

What NCSOFT managed to do in 5 years.
Adds few new visual effects on attacks and spells.
Adds new enviromental lighting that is in default in the UE4 engine.
Didn't fix a single dungeon or mechanic bug and Perfomance actually got worse if you compare the settings between both engines. 2021 and 99% of the computers cant even reach the 144fps mark.

Excuse me but have you seen the competition you are in with games like blue protocol, project BBQ, SOL?

Wait why UE4? I thought they were gonna use the UE5 graphics that were shown when they announced the Archer class. They even have a vid on it saying they were gonna use it, why backtrack?

My test was always:
Windstride to Faircloud: FPS marginally better due to graphics optimization because of UE4.
Windstride to Mushin's Tower: FPS still really bad due to how the game interacts with the processor.

Does the game look better? I think so personally. But automatic conversions of the code made on ue3 doesn't help the game's performance. I do appreciate the recreation of assets n stuff though.

I'm so glad I sold my account last year. OOF. It's a good game for teenagers with nothing else to do. You grow out of it pretty fast tho, once you realize you either play 24/7 or u Pay expensively to achieve anything.

I managed to open it fully once, after three power surge crashes. I got a glimpse of my favorite character before my computer crashed again. I didnt realize my computer was too old to play the game. Before I didn't want to play pay to win, but i could still play the quest line. Now i just can't play like at all at all.

why is the trailer running at 10 fps. Better question why is the game that 2 years ago was fine at 60 fps now is around 30-20..

I don't know..., I like the "old" graphics, if there is any option to enable and disable unreal engineering it would be fantastic.
After all choice options are always the best alternative.

Haven't been able to log in since the update. Kept getting either the Error 100 Failed to Connect or Error 300 Disconnected. Anyone else experiencing the same thing?

I quited 1 year ago since Rise of the Silversteel and now i wanted to return but i'm not sure, this game is full of p2w players, idk what to say, a new fresh start it will be great
