Camping is forbidden or restricted in protected natural spaces. Be sure to check local rules on camping.
In the Alt Pirineu nature park, camping is restricted. Hikers are only allowed to spend one night in a single place, from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m., and only at elevations of more than 2.000 metres above sea level. At many parks, camping is prohibited.
Motor homes and camper vans must also fulfil the rules for overnight stays in natural spaces.
