Me making this was the FIRST time I ever touched a crochet needle 😂 I was determined to gift my husband a sweater vest for our anniversary, found this tutorial and I am actually writing this after completing the project! Apart from my gift of being 💫delulu💫, I have only this really really greart tutorial to thank!! (Because I am NOT gifted at things like these at all, always was the girl with the ugliest handwriting in the class etc. haha.) Made a vest using two different colors. After three attempts I figured I had to adjust the body to start with only two stitches instead of three going around the bottom ribbing since it was not laying flat at all. After that it was pretty easy. I loved how the v-neck ribbing turned out. Thank you for this tutorial! 🥹

Hi, great turorial, but with this dark colour, it is really hard to tell where you are working some stitches. Especially the first row after ribbing, where it you are placing an extra dc somewhere inside the ridge, but it is really not clear where. Chosing lighter colour for turorials would be better.

Thank you for this! It is perfect. I have one question for you, though... Since you have done it in your size, what size IS it? S, M, L? I ask because my tension is a little different than most others I've met, but I know how to make the adjustment if I know what size i'm working from.
