CBI Raids Karti Chidambaram For Facilitating Visas To 250 Chinese Nationals | Breaking News

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today morning carried out searches at the premises of Congress leader Karti Chidambaram, son of former finance minister P Chidambaram, in multiple cities across the country. The raids are being conducted at nine locations - three in Chennai, three in Mumbai, and one each in Karnataka, Punjab and Odisha. According to sources, the Congress leader allegedly took Rs 50 lakh alleged bribe from 250 Chinese nationals to help them get Indian visas during the UPA regime. The Congress leader is already facing a probe for allegedly getting Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) clearance for INX media.
