Okay, so I really wanna do a rundown of this alien species:
They have fast, optic reflexes; alongside, a massive visible spectrum likely going into both infrared and ultraviolet, AND they can see in the dark, and have larger peripheral vision.
They have a larger range of hearing, likely towards the higher end, probably around 15 Hz - 30 to 50 kHz.
They have smaller olfactories; which, this makes sense given their other senses being greatly heightened.
They have stomach mouths that "go directly" to their stomachs; thus, suggesting a highly acidic stomach, a fairly high metabolism, and shorter GI tract; these reasons should make them shorter, but they have similar height to humans, so they must have gloriously massive lungs.
They have four legs, and a suggested lesser sense of balance, so they have a smaller inner ear as well.
Them having four legs, higher peripheral vision, suggested large lungs, and a suggested ability to metabolize quickly likely points to them having evolved for running fast to avoid fast predators; they are likely second or third on their home world's food chain

Fun fact, humans do actually have a type of night vision, it’s not like NODS or like what cats have but given enough time away from white light or a red light the human eyes will delight enough to let the right amount of light in to be able to see better in the dark

It was right at the point where she mentioned the humans only having 4 limbs that I imagined the camera pulling back, revealing the alien teacher to have some sort of monstrous lower half connected to a seemingly human upper torso. It would make sense as we have been frozen and couldn't look down to see for ourselves.
