Crazy that just a year ago a booster box was $235. Now in just a year despite pokemon overall being in a downward trend the booster box has doubled in just 1 year.

Damn I really wish I kept it sealed from back around launch instead of buying and opening and just fully experiencing evolving cries at it's fullest disappointment haha.

In 2 booster boxes best pull I got was a full art Jolteon. Worth about $9 😂

Just so so many non holo rares and the occasional holo rare. 1 full art (Jolteon) and I think 1 sylveon Vmax and a couple regular V cards out of like 90 evolving cries packs i opened that weekend.

Not a single alt art card. I wish the pull rates weren't so tough in that set because the set is incredible and full of awesome cards.

There are an easy 40-50 cards id love to get from that set so you would think it would be a great one top open as most other sets have maybe 10 chase cards if you're lucky.

But the pull rates is just brutal. I feel like they could have been a bit more generous with the pull rates and not have hurt the cards value all that much since there are so many hits.

Since then I've avoided opening evolving skies so i don't get hyped and disappointed. That was when it was available at msrp.... aint no way in hell I'd pay $8-10 a pack on it now.

The reason you don’t see black labels is because usually they are super rare . Most are pop 2-3, some like the Espeon Vmax are a pop 1
