To all the people complaining how this was a song already made 20 years ago.. don't realize that's how the music industry works, he sampled and remixed the song that was starting to get old & gave it a facelift and introduced a classic to new generations & now this new version can actually be played @ clubs & parties unlike the old version that has minimal thud in the bass and quiet drums.. this new version has more energy and newer & better elements, so y'all can quit hating on this artist.

And the beat is literally still going on!!! From the 60's the original version by "Sonny & Cher" then in the 80's "Orbit" remixed it. "All Seeing I" remade it in the 90's and now this one. I'm happy to have loved and jammed to each version. Awesome then and now! YES THE BEAT GOES ON!!!

Sonny Bono wrote The Beat Goes On, which was released in 1966 on a 45 RPM record. It appeared on their album in 1967, In Case You're in Love. I like their original song, but I also like your rendition. In all fairness, you should credit them somewhere for the original.
