This is why I buy options on the VIX when the market hints at going bearish. It's like buying insurance for your car in case of an accident. You gotta buy it early when the options aren't expensive though.

Do you track options max pain at all? Just curious, because this week is an absolute anomaly in being far off base from 01/17/25 contracts. TSLA at $250, NVDA at $98. Week prior and week after are on track though.
