Pinarello have launched two new ranges of bikes. To do this, they have got rid of the Prince and Paris and have simplified their range with a new F series and X series. The F series is to be made their new affordable race bike while the X series has gone on to become their endurance offering. It's clear that Pinarello are targeting a market which can't quite afford a Dogma but still want the same performance. What do you make of the new bikes from Pinarello?

Nice to see, nice to forget. Nothing here that tickles me. Especially at these prices. I'll stay with my old super light Canyon.

Pinarello always had "cheaper" bikes in its portfolio, Gan, Paris, Prince. So that's not the new aspect here. It's a "cheaper" bike with Dogma geometry. So they do what the big brands are doing already for years.

X3
Versus:
Canyon CF Endurance?
Trek Domane SL6?
Caledonia?
Older Paris?

Competition is cheaper and better spec choices?
?
Seems pricey still compared to competitors?

I don't understand the fashion with negative degree stems and then stack huge number of spacers underneath?

I dont see why anyone would buy the x1 x3 and f5 models, they are too expensive for their groupset (similar specced bike from Canyon is half the price)

Is there a difference in geometry between the new Pinarello F and the previous Prince?

At the moment I own a pinarrelo dogma team sky Paris reubaux edition with the small rear shock it is a very nice bike and extremely smooth on the hills it is kitted out with full durarace group set and carbon fiber wheels I personally think it is most comparable to the F9 but it cost a lot more 😂

Wonder if they are going to come up with a do it all bike like cervelo’s soloist ?

Affordable used in a very lose term here, cannot believe how much bikes have gone up. If you can afford those prices you could afford the dogma

Second-tier bike, at top model prices.
Actually, the price from a few years ago, or from a different brand, but still...

I just got an F5 with most carbon wheels for $4600, do you think I got a good deal?

Is the geometry of the X the same as the previous Paris?

@CyclingWeekly Thank you for this. Curious why the F5 also doesn't come with the Rival AXS option. That would have been a nice alternative to the 105 di2.

i think it is good that they all look similar so the silhouette is there no matter the model you will know it is a Pinarello just because of it

This had been a trend for many many years, bike company have a top tier, and then there will be lower tiers of the exact same geometry for cheaper tags. Was thinking Pinarello wants to be different or premium, that only the top tier gets its own geometry, and every tier has their corresponding geometry. But realistically, if I only want that racy geometry of Dogma F, but can’t afford it, I wouldn’t buy a Prince or Gan, because they are different animals! Wise move Pina, given the decline in the industry! But curious to see if they are still able to maintain their quality for those cheaper models.

Cheaper is relative, the bike looks beautiful to me and I’m sure the carbon wheels are better than the wheels on any of my other bikes. The issue is not the tyres but rather am I worthy of such an awesome bike.

A cyclist that have the performance mindset as you shouldn't be looking at this bike... you'll be never satisfied... just go straight to Dogma F.

I have a Prince and love the ride and performance. The F Series does not really look much better or desirable for me. The components are better on the Prince I ride. However, I do recognize the layers Pinarello is making to play off the Dogma. For me, I am staying with the Prince. . .
