Article 2 of Indian Constitution is in Part 1 of Indian Constitution named as Union and Its Territories is the basic foundation of the geographical arrangement of India, it's States and it's union territories and Article 2 gives directions on how to deal in the situation when we have an acquired territory.

If we already have a provision in the article then why we need to amend the constitution for?? Amendment comes when we doesn't have any provision under the article for the will of our parliament.

I have an doubt. Why we amended our constitution for converting Dadra and Nagar Haveli into India? We should not need to amend for this as we already have A2 for this i think. Plz clear my doubt.
