What if you end task on windows explorer in task mananger | Windows Explorer | Task Manager

But what if one does this unintentionally or intentionally. Well, you'll be stuck with a blank screen in front of you. Many of us panic and restrart the computer, that's apparently a cure to this problem but there's also a quick fix. You just have pres ctrl + Alt + Del simultaneously and you'll be greeted with this screen with a bunch of options on it. Just click on the one that says task manager.

However, the interface still won't look the way it is supposed to look because there's one more thing one needs to do subsequently.

Now that the task manager is open.

Click on file, then on run new task and type in 'explorer', press enter and as you can see things are back to normal as they ideally should be.
