I will always remember him from his classic 7-Up commercials as well as Punjab from the 1982 film version of "Annie". :(

He was 2 years older than my dad.  I will remember him for un-cola nuts and the villian baron samedi in the movie live and let die.

I didn't know he had passed away. His 7 Up commercials and the appearance in Live and Let Die were some of my great memories of the 1970s.
