Back in 2014 I had a brief out-of-body experience encounter with Lord Jesus Christ after praying for him to reveal himself to me if he is truly God. I didn't "see" anything in the way that we see objects with our eyes, but I could see what was "projected" into my mind's eye to see, if you will. In that brief telepathic conversation I could instantly feel myself in the presence of an extremely powerful being for sure. He asked me what I wanted, and I thought about asking him to visually show me what he truly looked like, and thereupon I could see the image on the shroud of Turin (bear in mind I had no idea that this artifact or the real face of Jesus existed anywhere except as artistic depictions of painters at the time). I also asked him "how can I enter heaven?" and received a rather vague reply that I nonetheless couldn't ask for more details at the time because of how amazed and shocked I was feeling. He simply said "by being judged" and that was the end of that. I sunk back into my body and he was gone. After that, I started seeing little specks of white light momentarily appearing and disappearing everytime while I was in deep prayer, and never while I was focused on things concerning earthly life or while doing sinful things, so I know the lights weren't because of an eye condition. I'd like to add that I believe Jesus chose to reveal himself to me through the image of the shroud to hit two birds with one stone: one, revealing his face, and two, confirming the authenticity of this relic.

The shroud of Turin not only reveals the form of Jesus Christ, but it also confirms the Christian narrative of the death and resurrection (as opposed to Islam's claim about what happened to Jesus) because the bloodstain patterns on the linen have been found to show a mystical nature in that the person in the body couldn't have got up outside the shroud and walked away, and neither could he have been carried away by someone else. The body inside the shroud must have simply "vanished" to leave the image that is seen on the shroud. So, the shroud proves that the resurrection did indeed happen.

If you don't believe any of this stuff, just pray for the truth to be revealed to you with a sincere, humble heart.
