Its a 8mm spline nut form those having issues removing.

Hi there thanks for video I’ve got same problem I’ve unbolted the lock but can’t get the electrical connection undone tried all sorts of things you made it look so easy with the screw driver but I can’t get mine undone any help would be much appreciated.

This is slightly misleading IMO because a) the bolts need a spline M8 to undo & then b) ordering a replacement from eBay probably won’t fit correctly. The Seat price is £130 inc parts & labour. I appreciate your video makes it look super easy hence I tried doing it & from getting the cover off to trying to fit a part from eBay has literally been a waste of time, I now have to return the part which was supposed to match my car model etc & does look identical albeit a cheaper version but it doesn’t align correctly & unless you have the correct tool to undo the bolts you have to use a garage or something. Just thought I’d add my experience.

Tried T40 and T45 torx head key and neither fit!

This Video is misleading, T40 and T45 trox doesn’t do the job you gonna be stuck in the middle of
