In Episode 3 of the China Factory Tour, the Glass Factory team visits Belle Footwear, one of China's largest footwear and handbag producers. They have 7 factory locations throughout China and we visited their largest branch in Dongguan. Videography and editing were done by my genius friend Ryan Terk.

This is exactly where big brands like adidas, nike or ugg source their shoes from, the only difference is the final labeling process. So paying extra money for big brands is an absolute joke

What sets them apart is their unparalleled craftsmanship and distinctive branding, which justify their premium prices. These factories and brands rub elbows with each other.

Bella used to be the biggest women shoe brand in China. When people used to shopping in department store, more than half of brands in women's shoes floor are from them. Their success is more depend on their marketing and availability around country. Once young generation focused more on design, sport shoes and purchasing online, they were almost bankrupt.

We have previously worked with Belle, and although their factory is quite large, the minimum order quantity is too high for many of our clients, especially for emerging shoe brands that cannot meet their MOQ. Sometimes, we need to combine orders from several clients just to meet their requirements. However, we now work with them less frequently, as we are constantly discovering better factories that offer superior quality, pricing, and lead times compared to Belle.
