I had the pleasure of being there and I used to be the admin upon the official website back in 2004. Still have the pleasure of being in touch with Joel since then. He's a great singer and person. I remember when this song came out in 2004, I was only 8 years old then and used to sit and watch the music video on one of those massive 00s TVs completely mesmerised. I'm nearly 26 now and this is still one of my favourite songs, every single time I hear it I still get chills and just feel completely lost in the music. I also clearly remember you performing live on the stage at Live N Loud in Glasgow the same year and being so excited to see you.

I still listen to Give it Away and the rest of the album regularly, it's a great dance record and so nostalgic for me. It was great to hear a new version of this song after so long and I'm really looking forward to new music. I hope you do gigs at some point because I never got the chance to dance to this in a club back then!

This reminds me of a girl I was infatuated with that year - it was one of those unrequited love kind of situations. I remember the heartache and the pleading - and it all played out in Ibiza! This song reminds me of that time and although I now look back at it with fondness, my love for this song (which I went out and bought on CD immediately) will never diminish. Thank you for being part of the soundtrack of my life.
