His patience and timing were on another level. Best hitter I have ever seen. Do yourself a favor and listen to Barry talking about batting and hitting the sweet spot of the bat!

Been watching the Giants since about 2000. Why does this not have more views or get talked about more or shown on sports broadcasts? The man hit an upper deck shot off his own team’s banner that’s probably only a few in width and height. It seems like a pretty big stage considering it’s the All-Star game. Not to mention it was off one of the most recently beloved journeyman pitchers, Bartolo “big sexy” Colon. Underrated in the Bonds highlights IMO.

Whatever Bonds did or didn't do to tarnish his image and his career, he had arguably the shortest, quickest stroke of all-time. And he always had it, long before he got involved with Balco.

100 years from now they will talk about steroids this and steroids that when we will have all kinds of automation in things and pills for this and pills for that. But what we will also have is a video like this that shows what greatness is. Bonds was truly great.

1:00 of course Joe Morgan ignores the fact that it hits the Giants sign. His biggest fear is actually being excited about something

Steroids or not. He was already crackin baseballs in the upper deck, with the sweetest swing of all time, before the "suspect roid body" emerged.

He's one of the best damn hitters I've ever seen. Bonds could do it all. People forgot.

Saw this live when I was a kid and I remember being so pissed off that they didn’t even mention he hit the ball of the GIANTS banner!! How do you miss the opportunity to point out that coincidence? These comments vindicated me lol

Bonds should have had 4 straight MVPs in early 90s. Baseball writers should be ashamed of themselves for voting for Terry Pendleton.
