Modern temple Wat Nong Bua Yai in Thailand, was submerged 20 years ago when a dam was constructed. The reservoir has now reached less than 3 per cent of capacity and revealed the ruins, including a 13-foot tall Buddha statue. Yotin Lopnikorn, 38, (pictured) headman of the Nong Bua village that used to be near the temple, said he used to play with friends at the site, which was a centre of the community, as a child. The temple also reappeared in 2015.
