I never "followed" Lady Gaga... Honestly, I cannot name a single hit of hers. But when she sang this song, her rendition absolutely gave me the chills. Her interpretation, and her at the end--along with the military band was perfect for this occasion. Strong, stirring, fantastic performance. And, I happen to LOVE the way she was dressed, including the gold bird, which I thought was a dove of peace...but maybe it had a double meaning. A CLASS ACT and a truly gorgeous voice and beautiful performance. I thought she totally hit the mark. GREAT CHOICE Inaugural committee~!

Ok People. I get it some of you are NOT Gaga fans. Well I wasn’t either until she sang the National Anthem. She was so proud and humbled to be there and despite weather you like her or not she deserves your respect and in my opinion she earned it. I know she has certainly earned mine. I will always be grateful to Lady Gaga for her flawless rendition and I am glad she is an American Patriot! God Bless her and her tone deaf critics.
