I'm so happy Kevin Gates is getting the recognition he deserves. Not only is he a great rapper but a great human being as well. Not a lot of people who get caught up in the system come out a better person. Seeing him do it was extremely inspirational for me. Rather than hating on him people should be learning and taking notes.

I spent over 4 years of my life in the system between being in and out of jail, on the run and paying an ungodly amount of fines. I been out of the system since 2012 and haven't looked back since.

Had I stuck with music back in school I'd probably be somewhere by now. However, without all I've been through I wouldn't have gained the life experience and be the man I am today. It's all up from here on out.

Kevin Gates was a huge inspiration for me. I'm sure there are many others out there as well.
