The Canadian government was fully aware who Jaroslav Hunka was. There are a lot of papers that you have to submit to the RCMP to attend Canadian Parliament. That's ridiculous to believe the government claims that they didn't know.

I was watching this live and I had a complete moment of “ I didn’t hear that right!” when the Speaker of the House read out his war record fighting the Russians. I was convinced I somehow forgot my basic WW2 history, but nope. My government is full ignorant idiots.

Here we find a level of (disgusted) snark rarely heard from Dr. Felton. And it is so well justified. When I first heard of the outrage of Canada's Parliament applauding a former SS soldier I almost immediately wondered what Mark would have to say about it. So glad we didn't have to wait too long.
