All the 'moderates' I've heard snidely remark about how Project 2025 has no chance of happening are the same people who assured me Roe v. Wade had no chance of being overturned. It's bizarre how the same people who are skeptical of the mainstream media will put so much trust in our judicial system or Republican politicians.

The annoying thing about P2025 is how its largely being put into the context of this election, and that makes me feel like if you-know-who loses people will breath a sigh of relief, the monster in a horror movie has been defeated and their magical book with the incantations to open a Lovecraftian portal to an indefinable elseworld permanently thwarted, and just forget about P2025. When in reality the creature disappeared into the night and the book has been spirited back into the possession of the cult that spawned it, setting up the sequel.

A reminder the Heritage Foundation came up with Obamacare in 1989, (as an alternative to the NHS because back in the 80s even they knew that US healthcare system was headed for disaster) and it took until 2006 for it to actually be implemented in the state of Massachusetts.

Parts of P2025 can be implemented in your state at anytime as long as you have a majority Republican state legislature, especially MAGA Republican.

One thing that is pretty much overlooked about Project 2025 is that they want to replace the NOAA with a subscription service. In other words, they want everyone to pay monthly for the same weather information that is now paid for by taxpayers (an average of 4.00 per person per year)

watching this post election hits different. i know we need to create our own mutual aid and communities to stay safe and somewhat sane among all this catastrophe, but I can't see past the sheer devastation of whats happening/about to happen right now. I can't thank you enough for this video! I've had progressive friends panicking about this, and seeing plenty of conservatives mocking anyone that's worried about it because they say it's not a real thing. Meanwhile I don't have the time to read 900 pages of stuff that already makes me worried, much less dive in to the 5Ws. This has really helped me understand what Project 2025 is and the likelihood of it being implemented.
