Skit Guys - Man of God

One of the greatest honors a dad could know would be his kids describing him as a “Man of God”. Day in and day out, they’re watching their dads…and the little things matter as much as the big things. Watch as three men live out their faith with their families.

I have to say, for not having a video for a while; this one really hit me hard. I pray almost daily that God will make into the man He want's me to be. To one day become the Husband and Father He wants me to be, yet at times I don't really know what that means or how to be that Man. I lost hope in learning how. This video really spoke to me and made me really think about what I'm doing to be a true "Man of God". Thank you Skit Guys, this was a real answer to prayer. I Couldn't help but smile the whole time knowing that I prayed for God's help in being a Man of God no more than 24 hours ago. Thank You!

The dads in the video look like they will be remembered as fun and 'present' dads, tenderly engaging with their kids with sincerity and humour. A lovely sentiment, especially with a great soundtrack. Unfortunately only 20 seconds (or 7%) of the footage included actions that can be attributed to a man of God, different to a dad who simply loves his kids - praying with his kids (7 sec), reading the bible with his kids (7 sec) and leaving a person-centred half-verse on his daughter's mirror (6sec). Like most of the Skit Guys' videos I have watched (and much like my archery), heading in the right direction but usually missing the mark, sometimes by a long way.
Some things I was hoping to see were men praying with and for their kids consistently, reading His words independently and as a family, serving in church and gathering the kids to do likewise, making church a priority, praying for and speaking of Jesus to their friends and facilitating the kids to do likewise (e.g., playdates with school mates), showing forgiveness, seeking forgiveness and repentance when we stuff up (especially when Dad's wrong their kids), giving financially to church at an expense to the family (e.g., less extravagant holidays/house/car/toys), working with integrity amongst peer pressure to cut corners and defraud the boss, sponsoring and engaging (writing letters) with an impoverished child through a reputable organisation that teaches Jesus as well as providing material needs, working a four-day week and doing gospel ministry with the other three, etc. These are the actions of men of God that, upon their death bed, children will look and pray and thank God that their Dad went to pains-length to uphold His honour and teach them Jesus so that upon His return we can stand side-by-side as co-heirs in the wonderful inheritance He has waiting for those whom He chooses.
Funny guys who produce good quality entertaining videos, please go for Jesus' glory more.

I watch this video realizing it seems like the dream I have always had for my life but yet feel like I am outside a glass window looking in. I feel like I can't achieve that because no matter how hard I try to be a "Man of God" I screw up and it spirals down to the point of giving up trying eventually every time :/

I'd love to be remembered as a woman of God. I'm struggling with my relationships with others. I want to love others the way that Jesus did, but how? The verses that I know about this are generic. What verses are specific? I'm single and don't have kids, but I'm happy about that! I just want friends in God's family that I can relate to and be with without any problems at all.
