I thought the first prototype was fantastic, but I saw the updates and lost my shit. The physique is so on point, and the additional changes to the head sculpts are heavenly. Honestly, I don't think they've nailed a likeness this good since EG Cap. I am beyond excited to have him in hand.

About the torso, I checked the bts and the movie a bit for references in painting and also the art book. The chest and ab sections are different materials. Chest is more metallic while the rest is like an equestrian's vest material. I think Jnd is closest to the movie, but the chest plate should be a bit reflective as it catches light differently.

The producer did say this suit is a bit of a prototype so it’ll evolve over the years. I also anticipate an updated suit in the sequel

Justin, I saw many versions of the real suit during filming (I used to work at WB/DC). The shiny chest is based off the “Hero” suit. The matte/soft chest armor you’ve seen in reference pictures are based off one of many variants of the stunt suits. A lot of the suits you see on display is one of many stunt suits (some for Robert, some for his stunt double)

That's a MMS in my book. They didn't have to re-work the head sculpt, but it's great. I love the ''early prototype'' details the figure has, like the fins on the gauntlet being just pieces of straps, the different materials on the suit like he's still figuring out what works better, the disproportion of the gauntlets and cowl, it's all perfect. And can we appreciate the fact that they're not affraid anymore to do a gray & black suit?

For a company as big as HotToys, the reason why they didnt do things like the changable hair piece and rolling eyes from the beginning, is because they have a fan base and the fans will buy the figures they put out the majority of the time. So HT will get away with as much as they can. Thank the lawd for the competition though!

I am with you on using the “P” word. I am a huge fan of your channel. So I know how you are about your reviews. I agree with your Pros and Cons almost always. For me. This is Perfect! My jaw is still on the ground. It is beyond fantastic!

Initially I wasn’t very enthusiastic about this movie or costume. Of course I changed my mind. Death of a Family and Hush are my favorite stories. So, anything available for those two always gets my attention. Anyways, this figure and costume are just incredible. The details, accessories the whole package. It’s definitely a Deluxe release if it’s not one by name. I love it! I wish the video was a little longer to really see everything. That’s not always possible I know. I just had a hard time taking my eyes off of it. 😂

sorry dumb question. But if we preordered this figure initially before the 2.0 update was announced, do we get the 2.0 or 1.0 version? Or is this update meant for ALL releases? Thanks!

I checked lots of reference photos and this actually is accurate, the chest and abs are two different textures materials. Also, I noticed in the hot toys promo photos they released, one of them shows unmasked Pattinson looking down holding a cowl, does anyone on here know if it comes with this set? I’m assuming it does or that’s false advertising?

I really do wish they would fix the abdominal section. In many still images it looks more like a rubber material. Definitely not a fabric padding...
