Learn more about Tokyo Station:

Originally constructed in 1914, Tokyo Station is one of the largest train stations in Japan, used by many people everyday. As a transit hub with a dense network of local and bullet train lines, most travelers would pass through at least once during their stay in eastern Japan. Additionally, the station is also the zero mile marker for many train lines.

With its multiple levels and labyrinth of shopping and dining streets, Tokyo Station can be quite confusing to travelers. However, it is a great place to spend a day and to make things easier, we have compiled a list of 7 things to know about Tokyo Station.

I lost my ipad on the bullet train from Kyoto to Tokyo. On my find my phone app, I knew it was still at the Tokyo train station. I learned from our trip coordinator (she didn’t know it before I asked for help) that there are two Lost & Found offices there. One is for random stuff and the other was, drum roll, A LOST & FOUND FOR DIGITAL I got my ipad back the next day. After several questions from the clerk there, she presented to me my ipad. I wept. Only in Japan.

Majestic Tokyo station, so much to do, see, and eat in it lol. I wouldn't mind staying at that hotel, very convenient for traveling and visiting other cities, as well as being beautiful. Thank you for your hard work everyone, and please stay well and stay safe. Arigatou gozaimasu. 🌸🌸🌸

Great video and interesting facts. Didn't know there was a hotel in the actual station building. However: keep your eye on the direction signs and don't get lost in the undergrounds of Tokyo Station 😅

Thank you guys for continuing to put out great content during the virus pandemic. My family and I cancelled our plans to visit in September after the Olympics had concluded, but we're already working on plans to visit Japan next year (apparently after those Olympics have concluded :P). Thanks for the many helpful tips and suggestions!

I can spend a whole week in Tokyo station without a need of going out (as long as wallet is fat enough), so many choices of good restaurants and stores in underground level.
