Every year Cardinal Donald Wuerl, Archbishop of Washington celebrates a special Jubilarian Mass where hundreds of couples renew their wedding vows and receive commemorative certificates celebrating their anniversaries of 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50 or more years of wedded life.
Nicola and Iolanda Fresco are celebrating 50 years of marriage and attribute their successful marriage to their Catholic faith, God's help and taking care of each other.
The annual Jubilarian Mass for Married Couples was on Sunday, June 25 at 2 pm at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.
