Loading Container Ships is Much Harder Than You Think. Today's video will cover a fascinating yet highly overlooked part of our world: containers. Practically every good we use in our daily lives was at some point inside a standard shipping container. Our video today will focus on just how these containers work and the insane engineering involved in getting them from point to point.

Im in the container business but we move containers from the rail so its nice to see how the entire process works from the shipping to the ships to the receiving ports

I have seen loading of containers from engineer's deck : it is all computer managed with each box having its determined place as per its weight and good carried.
Furthermore there is a system of pumps and ballasts that continuously transfers water to keeps the ship horizontal.
A very sophisticated set up !
Great to see.😊

I worked for a grocery warehouse. Once we got the order and destination info, I’d then develop the loading order to get to the pickers so first loaded is last unloaded

The ISO is the International Organization for Standardization, not the International Standards Organization.

Tiers in hold starts at 02, 04 and so on. Tiers on deck start at 72, 74 etc or 82, 84 and so on bay starts at the bow at 01, 03 etc, or 40 ft at 02, 04 etc. Your welcome 🙏

This should be how Congress Works in passing a bill and one bill at a time not 50, 000 pages. Little bit of an exaggeration can we just clean house at the White House

0:03 I don't care what you're saying, that's _not_ 24, 000 shipping containers.

This is BS: Matson Lines invented it, proved it, and "championed" it.
The ISO is a bunch of paper-pushers who came along later to collect their grift off the top.

"Pick up a load of Nokia cellphones in South Korea": Might someone be thinking of Samsung? Nokia is a Finnish brand, and mostly out of the cellphone handset market...

Re your thumbnail. No ship owner would EVER put their vessel in the kind of danger you've photoshopped the unrealisticly overloaded container carrier. If your want credibility on your channel, I'd suggest you keep future thumbnails realistic.
