If you can't find that check box or if it's ghosted (you're unable to change it) then make sure you have latest version of Firefox, uninstall the old version completely and then reinstall the latest version.

That did nothing. The box wasn't checked to begin with and I get logged out of every web site I sign into.

I know the answer. You are not putting in correct password to google but using another device to confirm. The exact issue was happening to me however i didn't want to update password and just confirmed on phone. Once i changed password and logged in with said new password it saved the info for next time i launch fire fox. This comment is a copy of a redditpost from a user called beforedeth.
