Smael Time Change 24hr to 12hr

Many people were asking so I decided to make a dedicated video on it. Hope this helps many.

Nice video sir! Turn off hourly chime would be nice! Not fun hearing the countdown beep when you have to wake up at 5am and got up to pee and “accidentally” saw the clock at 3am 😂 smh horrible so I just put the watch in the other room so I can’t hear it lol!

Thanks! I had a SKMEIL watch but basically same procedure. I keep the digital time in UTC (ZULU) and analog display in local. UTC will be the same everywhere the only difference is how the local time is converted. For US domestic CONUS actually pretty simple. During Daylight savings time (summer) the conversion is -4, -5, -6 and +4, 5, 6, 7 to get Zulu. For winter same only 5-6-7-8. I can set analog display to local time as I travel.

What doesn't help me out? Is that the analog dial is at the wrong place as the digital numerical number?

The analog component does not match with the digital Time, I'm trying to figure out how to make them both Sync together.

Alarm is set to AM
ALM is displayed above the AM in the lower display

No alarm.

I bought this because it was cheap and needed something to tide me over until I got my Citizen back for crystal repair. The name has a lot to be desired marketing wise. It doesn’t exude anything positive, just oddball and rhymes with snail. Seriously? If I was this company’s marketing guy I’d veto using “Smael” and find something more exciting. I wonder how many folks skip over it just because of the name. I couldn’t pass up $20, especially since it only has to last a month or so.
