But if its 1/3 ^-3 why isnt that the same as 1/3•1/3. Bevpcause cant you write a negative number as the fraction. I'm confused how your getting 3^3 out of it instead.

its going to be a very stupid question here but why is y never a negative number ? is it only because the base is positive i expected the -x to have negative answer? X.X sorry trying to get this ?
