This pattern was what got me super into crochet. Your exact video is responsible for bringing me endless joy. I made this for my Nana 6 years ago when she moved into a nursing home. A few years later she came to live with me, by then she didn't know who I was anymore. But she still had her blanket. Every time she used it (almost daily) she would tell me "my friend made it for me a long time ago, I can't remember her name but she was so sweet" and I'd tear up every time. She passed away at the end of 2019, and I now have the blanket. I'll never forget about it or your tutorial. 💕💕

Very well done! Both the video and the blanket. So many videos have the instructor talking with a lot of nonsense while they are crocheting, you are concise and you explain well. Thank you.

4 months ago I started crocheting again. I made dozens of pot holders and beanies. I watched your video and then followed along with it. So far I am only on row 11. Your directions are clear and I can see the stitches very well. Thank you for doing this for us. Have a great day!!

I finally finished my virus blanket and it took me a total of about 3-4 weeks! it was so easy and fast! I just put a straight edge around it in single crochet and 4 rows. it turned out so gorgeous! I had like a dark bluejean color, lime green, and a verigated light blue/lime green/white/and dark blue. thanks so much for the super easy tutorial!

I love this pattern! I let my husband pick the colors and pattern for the baby blanket I'm making for our first baby (due in 5 weeks!) And it's coming together beautifully in mint and variegated pastels. It took about 12 rows before it started to lay flat but now that it is I can see it's going to be a very pretty blanket!

Thank you for this video! I'm going to have to make this one. One thing that I LOVE and that I appreciate you doing is telling us that at the beginning it doesn't lay flat. I always get to that point and think I've messed up somewhere. It's nice when I'm told "If it looks funky, that's normal".

I made myself the Virus shawl recently and both daughters really liked it, but said they would rather have a lap throw. I was very happy to see this for the Virus blanket. It works up so quickly I may have them both finished in time for Christmas. Thank you for a great video.

OHMYGOODNESS! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this video. It is usually easier for me to follow written instructions, but the ones for this project confounded me. After watching this EXCELLENT video, I can now go back to the written instructions and finish my blanket. THANK YOU!

OMG just when I had fallen in love with your "Beautiful Shells" pattern, I find this! I LOVE this pattern and such an excellent tutorial video. You give us just enough info to get into it and continue on our own. Thank you. I love how this one keeps me engaged with all the different rows, it's so fun!!! I totally went through an entire skein of yarn this morning with this. Thanks so so much! Also, that sparkly pink and white is so cute.

I love the way you instruct. Not too fast, not too slow. I can easily pause, then continue when I'm ready. You're very clear and concise, and you don't ramble on trying to catch your words. I've tried one of your other patterns and it turned out beautiful! I only wish you had more videos. I'll keep checking, hoping you will come out with more projects. You're wonderful! Thank you so much!

I have been trying for months to figure out how to make this blanket. Your video is the best by far. The way you explain each stitch makes this pattern a no brainer for slow learners like myself. Thank you so very much!!!!
