On Christmas Day last year, I left my earphones in the Sydney Qantas lounge and I just sat down on the plane when I realised and it was too late for me to physically go back, we let the flight attendants know EXACTLY where they were and what they looked like, and they called the lounge to see if they were still there. It felt like forever before they told me they found them, and I wasn’t expecting to get them back before the plane took off but the flight attendants said they were literally closing the door when a staff member THREW them through the door. My respect for flight attendants and airport staff is astronomical. I was crying on and off for a while bc it was stressful lol. Qantas staff are amazing.

I was on a budget airline from Vietnam to Singapore and I had those wireless earbuds. Before the plane took off, for whatever reason I went to adjust my earbuds that was on my ear and it flew somewhere. I panicked thinking S**t! I think it's gone and I won't be able to find it. Checked my seat on the floor, every nooks and crannies, but was so embarrassed to ask the flight attendant. She saw me looking flustered and searching for something and ask me if everything was okay. I told her my earpiece is missing and she was so kind to help me find it. She took out a flashlight and went searching for it. And look out the bottom cushion of the seat and it was there!! Hahaha I will never forget this experience. Since then I only use the wire headsets during a flight 😂😂 but really appreciative to the flight attendant that helped me lol

I'm an international student, and one time i dropped my i20 outside the airplane, this noce flight attendant got out of the airplane and got it for me, Im never forgetting that and I pray everyday that she has a wonderful life :)
