Drinking of alcohol is not permitted on the EF Language Travel program (for 10-14 and 14-17 year olds). EF also has programs for older students where the participants are adults, where the students are adults and can decide themselves.

In some course towns in Malta you have more 13-15 year olds and in some you have more 17-18 year olds. Best is if you talk with the staff at your local EF office to find out what group/course town best matches your age! Matt @EF YouTube Team

@Jose3puntos - There's the EF disco where students can go also if they are 14! Seven nights a week in St Julian's and 3 nighs a week in Gozo. So you can have fun also if you're 14, at th eEF Disco. Malta is great! Matt @EF YouTube Team

OK. Well actually you have the choice which program to go on. On the EF Language Travel program (EF Viajes de Idiomas) you travel with a group from Spain together with a leader and it's a package where most of the activities are included. On the EF Language Courses Abroad program (EF Cursos de Idiomas) you travel more individually, and you plan your own free time. I think you should call the EF office in SPain because they can explain more in detail the difference. Good luck! Matt @EF YouTube

Actually the exact "age limit" is a little bit different in each country, because the school system is different. I think that in Spain you can choose when you are 18, but I think most 18 year olds chose "Cursos de Idiomas". The best is if you call the EF office in Spain because they know best the exact age limits for Spanish students. The phone number is 900 10 15 00 - good luck!
