In this video, we will be going over the basic foundation of curating a wardrobe that consists of everyday wear that is chic and effortless. This will be a more modern approach that has elegance with an edge consisting of different elements to elevate the look. I will do a run down of the basics because the effortless chic look is not a trendy approach to fashion, but rather a timeless and versatile one meaning that this style can be worn pretty much anywhere at any time if you style on the spectrum of casual to formal to suit the occasion.

Effortless is such a difficult thing to pull off, contradictory as it seems. For me effortless is sleepwear lol

This is a very beautiful video. Could you do a video with some examples on elegant and chic style for curvy ladies. I always find it challenging to find curvy models who can pull off this style.

Please talk more about non-jean pants! I feel like I’m at a huge disadvantage as an American 😭 we don’t do trousers nearly as much as leggings and jeans

Goodness the visual appeal is just like a high fashion magazine. This is an amazing video for someone beginning to want to dress chic.

1. LEGGINGS ARE NOT PANTS. PERIOD. And Karl Lagerfeld said sweatpants are a sign of defeat. Google the quote.

2. Jeans are mostly worn at home. Like sweatpants, but better.

3. Athleisure is a myth. Europeans (French especially) don't like to advertise that we work out, its all hush hush secret. Keep the mystery. So we don't stay in yoga pants or sports bras all day. We change into real clothes. I blame your KKK (KimKanyeKlan) for the popularity of gym clothes as outfits.

4. Nails. Hair. Shoes. The devil is in those details. You can wear your beloved leggings but if those three details are impeccable, you're in "le chic".

5. Spritz some perfume and put on lipstick before leaving the house. Even with no complexion makeup on and sunnies you'll look (and smell) sophisticated. It just elevates your being.

I'm not Parisian but my family is Congolese-Belgian and so I've been raised on the chic European aesthetic with colourful African flair. I also went to English public school and wore school uniform for 12 years so I understand intuitively the "preppy scholar" look as well.) So these are tips I've been raised on.

Bon chance à tous. Bisous bye.

The editing on this one is crazy. How do you do it? Can you make a video about who you and and what you do?

I have an internal battle.
My dream style is this, simple, elegant, classic and chic, but i feel naturally attracted to tackiness and the more is more style. I love colors and bold clothing...I don’t know what to do, they’re opposites.
Great video, i loved it.

"being ahead without being above." literally just wrote "you want to stand out but not to be above others, there's a difference." in my journal yesterday.. never thought there's really a quote similar to it lol. Anyways, balance is key, always ❤️ in the past, I was so into extravagance and in your face kinda style, only to flaunt my fashion knowledge or skills (?) but like, ever since I started loving parisian chic, effortless style, I also started seeing the beauty in subtleness and simplicity ✨ I really recommend the olsen twins, camille rowe, caroline de maigret, jane birkin, and coco chanel's style to those that loves this kind of style.

anyways, thank you for another inspiring video✨ indeed, you are clever and chic 💖

hope you can also make a vid about the kibbe body type system, and how we could dress for our lines.

Can you make a video on the outfits in the Politician Tv series? I would love to hear your take

Mixing feminine and masculine only works well for ean and angular or tall and slim body type. For others it can make them look boxy and square-like.I would love to see a video only for full hourglass or pear body shape.

I've been spending my life in Europe for almost a decade, including London and I think this video seems a bit vague :) I would say most contents in your video is essentially on point, based on what I've seen and experienced. But more specific details could have answered lots of answer and given clear picture. After years of researching and meeting Parisian girls, I drew my
1. You need exceptionally well fitting pieces. Simple and basic trousers, blazer or even shirts.... you want it in extremely basic design but fits more than well. You should feel that 'this very white blouse is made to be worn by me'. Trust me.... whenever you need to be in an occasion, you will just grab them and go.
2. Little black dress should look appropriate for literally any occasion. Funeral, interview, party and restaurant. It sounds impossible.... but once you find one, you can do that impossible trick. Tho I admit it sounds like a mission impossible and I actually came across one. Just put too much weight on, due to global health crisis RIP
3. Colour scheme is on point. One friend of mine even told me, wearing all in black signals that one is from Paris. Tho can be considered as snobby when you're outside of Paris in France. Staying with neutral colour would never go wrong. If you think the colour is too boring.... make some subtle change with textures and materials. black skinny jeans with black leather jacket and white/cream silk blouse. boom.
4. Tho gotta confess, you don't need any heels. Nobody in Paris really wear it. Stick to 1-2 inches top and ideally leather boots and trainers. Not a nike kinda trainers but more of Lacoste kinda white almost flat ones.
