How To Grow an Almond Tree at Home

Learn how to grow an almond tree at home from an almond.
It is very easy to do and very fun.
You only need to get natural raw almonds and germinate them. After germinating the almonds put them on soil and they will sprout.
They grow well. In this video I show a 4 month old almond tree and it grew quite a lot in that short amount of time.

One BIG question. If you are planting a sweet (eating) almond, can you be sure the resultant tree will also be a sweet almond, or do you have to be concerned it will revert to being a poisonous bitter almond? I know almonds don't come true to seed, but can you count on that much at least?

15 to 18 days enough in fridge. Replace to soiled plastic bowl.. wet it daily (spray water ).castor oil apply the plastic bowl side of wall . For protect from ants .important. plants are grow well successfully. True.

reminder to you guys, if you live in the USA, almonds here are always pasteurized, even if they are labeled raw, so they cant germinate. try to buy almonds overseas or straight from a farmer.

I planted my almond seeds sideways and they came up with two trunks. First time trying it. I dont know if this is a bad thing or not. I am thinking it might cause poor root development.Any thoughts?

Are those unpasteurized raw almonds? Because in USA 🇺🇸 it required by law for them to Pasteurize raw almonds Where can you get the raw almonds you’re using? Or will raw pasteurized sprout 🌱?

We tried it one year ago and our tree is still growing! We are noticing the leaves becoming yellow. Do you have any advice for what is causing it? The plant is outdoors. Maybe we have not watered it enough? Or too much?
