So funny! Bows were big when I got married in the late 90s and I hated them because they were too little girlish for me. So, I purposely avoided dresses with bows & eventually they went away but they are sneaking back in.
This is a gorgeous dress on her.

I value my wedding dress more than some of my wedding guests. Oookay.
A couple of the dresses that had buttons all down the back had a terrible zipper next to them. A zipper is fine, but put a zipper that’s hidden. A recessed zipper that’s covered.

If your parents are paying it's fair for them to have an opinion. If you're being a grown up and paying for your own wedding then don't take people along who are ruining your buzz. Doesn't matter who they are. They're not the one getting married.
