THULE One-Key Lock Cylinder Core Installation

In this short video I show you how to install a THULE One Key Lock Cylinder. To remove just insert the square key into an unlocked lock cylinder and wiggle the whole lock cylinder out.

Just to clarify, do these lockcores lock the rack to the feet to prevent theft? How many do i need for 1 bar, 1 or 2 lockcores?

After installing the core with the square key, the lock keeps coming out of the core when I unlock it. Do you know why it's not catching?

How do I replace a cylinder with another might be helpful.

If I buy a used Thule raceway that is missing it's lock key, can I buy a change key and just change it out for a different cylinder/key pair?

Maybe another way to ask the same thing is: do I need to unlock the lock before I can use the change key?

Do you have to have the change key or can you use the factory key to switch out locks

Attempting to do this on a Thule Motion XL - Removed the old lock and when I try and put the new lock in with the square key, the lock doesn't fully insert (i.e. core isn't flush with the front. Ideas?
