As an Indian cricket fan, I’ve got to say, Pat Cummins is a real legend. He’s a top player, a true leader, and a genuine gentleman. He’s earned every bit of success that’s come his way. This Australian team deserves all the credit—they’re up there with the best, maybe even better than the teams under Ponting, Waugh, or Border. Under Tim Paine Aussies had lost the last 2 BGTs in Australia and in my opinion Pat Cummins leadership was the difference this time.

Cummins has done a lot to change Australia’s cricket culture, especially after the sandpaper scandal and the Tim Paine mess. His calm, professional approach has set a new standard.

India has a lot to learn from this series. Instead of focusing on pointless aggression and hostility, we need to focus on professionalism, humility, and thinking with our heads, not our emotions. Our obsession with player worship, PR stunts, and jingoism needs to stop. And also our over reliance on 1-2 players. It is a team effort.
