Prototypes are finicky beasts. Greg Gyann set the pace in qualifying, with Tim Day Jr and Sherman Chao right behind. Lucian Pancea found his car almost undriveable in the final quaifying session, which means he would start the trace with an unknown setup on the car. All of them had to pilot their rocketships for 15 laps to come home the victor at the 2023 SCCA National Championship Runoffs – who would do it?
