Doesn’t matter how rich you are. People define their lives by what they don’t have…

I work a middle-class job that I've been burnt out on for years. Some of these people should sit at my desk for a month and I think they would appreciate what they had.

I have never had much money and have never been inspired by it. I highly recommend being on the poor side. I have very little and truly appreciate what I do have. When the roof over your head is a blessing, not a showcase to impress others, it is truly a home. I am able to look at the "finer" things in life. Like love, friendship, nature and the arts. I can die knowing I was good to others. Most people with money will never experience these things.

If I had been poor then I would have been happy quote??? Well??? I don't know about the travails of being rich??? However, I have been poor and I do not recommend it.

One person that should be on this list is Bunker Spreckles, one-time pioneering surf king. Stepson of Hollywood's king, Clark Gable. Bunker was an heir to the Spreckles sugar empire.
He inherited $50 million on his 21st birthday in 1970. He went through half of his inherited wealth in less than 6 years, making his net worth at the time of his death $25 million. He was found dead of a drug overdose in Hawaii in January 1977.
He was 27 years old. There is a documentary film about his life titled, Bunker 77.

I wouldn't call Jackie O, a gold digger. Can't say marrying him wasn't opportunistic, I think she did it because he offered protection for her and her children. Did she love him? Idk. But I don't think she married him simply for money.

Fact - Money doesn't equal to happiness

Interesting video but awful background noise that makes it very hard to listen and concentrate on the narrative. It is annoying and frustrating to have to work so hard just to follow a story. Please turn significantly down the background music or even better just turn it completely off. We are here for the stories not the music. Thank you
