Your identity in the choices you make is where your success is. Every day I struggle with being single at 45 years old and look at situations like a struggling purpose bc of it. You must not create feelings of despair and let your heart not be troubled by negatively identifying things.

LOVE THIS! Okay so I am a previous non denomination, I was baptized non denomination three times, the first time was in Janesville Wisconsin at an Assembly of God Church, then I moved around the country in the military, and flight attendant, I was baptized again in Louisiana and then in Germany, long reality short after all these years I lived in Louisiana and around the world but my illnesses became really bad and my terminal illnesses started taking the best of me, so I was forced to move back to Wisconsin with my mom, I've been here for years and the very first time I was introduced to the Book of Mormon was in Germany during the Gulf War, I was babysitting one of the other military wives kids, she said she was going to Temple and be right back, bahahaha! That be right back was like I'll be right back maybe a day or so from now LOL however she left me with the video of 1989 version of Saturday's Warriors that was back when we only had VHS tapes for those of you who don't know what that is look it up LOL anyway I love Saturday's Warriors she also left me with the Book of Mormon and I said no thank you I don't believe in anything but the Bible and she just kind of left it there and it collected dust and I opened it a couple times but it didn't interest me and I didn't have the knowledge or even try to ask questions, now it's been while since my younger sister married a Mormon, that's the second time I've heard about it and I always thought they were like Jehovah's Witnesses and I thought my younger sister was just playing house and making herself look good with her husband and I knew nothing about it and I stereotyped which I ask forgiveness for and finally last February I just asked her if the girls could come over and pray with me because she was leaving the next day too join her husband at Fort Bragg and I knew I'd be sad and missing her and I asked her to ask those missionary girls to come talk to me and she called them the sisters and I said oh thier sisters? LOL she explained it, so basically just prayer was all I was looking for but then I asked my sister another question before she left and I asked her about the temple and the answers that she was giving me made me so excited and happy inside it was the most miraculous feeling that I've never felt before and I've been to the church where we raise our hands clap your hands stomp your feet fall to the floor feel the heat go up and down our bodies hands shaking you name it I've been there and felt it, so immediately I said to my sister, I knew there had to be more! I just knew it! And what I meant was that when she told me about baptism of the dead and I thought about it and I said you know Jesus did say that he would leave his spirit with us you know the gifts of the Holy Spirit and what was done when he walked the Earth would be the same today as it was back then so this all began to click into my heart and soul and make sense! I was so excited I couldn't wait to meet the sisters and tell them how the Revelation came to me and how instantly I just knew there had to be more to this than what I have been taught through other churches, and when they asked me to pray for myself to ask if this is true, that definitely helped but I told them I already knew it was true before I even prayed it! I'll never forget that night and that feeling that came over me when I talk to my little sister about the temple in the questions about the knowledge of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the Book of Mormon and the temples and from that point on I have been more excited than ever! And yes in the beginning like my younger sister, she thought she would have issues with the sit-down don't move type of the church where we were used to praise and worship music you know kind of like a band before church and we staying praise and worship music with a drum and a guitar and you name it, it wasn't hymns, we dance we clapped everything and I said I don't know about this I'm going to have to see how that one goes and oddly enough well not a lie but my sister said that she didn't have an issue with it and I said you know I didn't either because I believed there is a time for worship there is a time for silence and respect and there is a time for everything and the more I'm learning the more I'm growing in the more I want to know and I'm hooked on the Book of Mormon where I watch children's version when I'm bedridden so I can listen to it when I'm not able to open my eyes and read because of my tumors disease and I'm in a lot of pain so Roku YouTube Mormon Channel Living Scriptures Brigham Young University I call it my Bayou TV, like when I lived in Louisiana down the by, and I almost said amen out loud a few times basically I just nod my head up and down not my head up and down and Nod my head up and down and everybody who knows me now understands when I nod my head up and down it's me shouting amen LOL or clapping when something someone's done singing, I almost did that as well but the one thing that I loved about the open invitation to clap was when they have the anniversary and the Tabernacle Choir awesomeness the performances they put on I was on my hands and knees clapping it was awesome I loved watching that whole program that they put together for the anniversary it was awesome I could go on and on and on and I'm just so grateful that I finally open my eyes and ask questions and that lack of knowledge is what I had and stereotyped all these years! All I want to do now is to help others who stereotype or have lack of knowledge or just don't ask questions like I did but yet I did believe in our heavenly father his son Jesus and the gifts of the Holy Spirit and discernment and the best thing of all which I find very awesome is that the church in Janesville Wisconsin that I was baptized in non denomination is called New Life Assembly of God and driving down the road I would make a right hand turn to get into my church, now years later lo and behold my Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is right across the street from the non denomination church that I was baptized LOL I take a left hand turn to get into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints when I'm driving and it is just so awesome because now I say to people that's the best right left hand turn I've ever turned in my life LOL there's so much more but I have a book of testimonies I just love loving this so much and I love all of you all y'all are awesome Keep On Keepin On and know that I will do whatever I can my way and prayers always peace that passes all understanding and every breath we take and in everything we do and let us live love laugh help others and continue to just know that we are here for a reason and I know that my illnesses are not going to get better, like when I lived in Louisiana down the by, and I almost said amen out loud a few times basically a just not my
