Great video!! Worked like a charm! But I didn’t have the lever I had a plastic cover in the center of my trunk. I popped it and there was the release I did what the video said with my key and it worked!!!

Thanks so much for this video... I took the battery out to go get a new one and forgot to keep trunk open and couldn't get back in to put new battery in... What a lifesaver..I called the dealer and they din't even know there was a latch inside the trunk..LOL

Wish my S6 was a clean as your battery compartment. Mine's under the spare tire surrounded by air suspension lines. Took 40 minutes to get it out. Sucks on my back and wrist injuries. I'm hurting.

European versions do not have emergency handle on the trunk lid. Even, some European versions do not have split folding rear seats. Only way is to give power through jump terminals in engine department. Audi USA cars have more

I'm learning that Luxury cars can be very inconvenient for simple maintenance things. Like why not just have a manual lever option like a regular car?

Inside the trunk i dont have the lever, but a cover of palstic and i dont know if there is the lever because is very small. (Audi a6 c6 4f)

I also did this actually yesterday. Closed boot lid with wires not connected because installing retrofit camera and front sensors. I had no power to the boot lid, turned the key left boot opened fine. Didn’t need to go in the boot or anything.
