Valtteri Bottas is looking down the barrel of his worst first-half of a season since 2013, his rookie campaign, with the Finn and his Sauber squad on zero points after 12 rounds.

Bottas’ career has been on a slippery slope since joining Sauber in 2022, with 46 in his first season, and just five points scored last year. It’s a long way from his Mercedes days from 2017 to 2021. Watch the video, and tell us what you think in the comments…

I think if Sainz doesn’t go to Williams, then Bottas will. And if not, I think as a stretch he should go back to Mercedes to bring stability when Lewis leaves. Russell can’t get it done. Either way I don’t think he’s leaving F1.

It's definitely not Bottas fault. That's 100% accurate statement. When more than 50% of the cars in the field cannot compete for first place in any race throughout the year it's called pathetic. zero competition. It's called trash.

bottas went missing for 2 years in f1, nothing impressive coming from him, for the seat fight in 2025, no seat is possible for him since the fight for seat right now is very unpredictable

He had his chance. The deadwood needs to go. F1 should have new talent constantly. Bottas, Ricciardo, Hulkenberg, Magnussen all had their chance. Turf them out and make way. F1 is no place for nostalgia. 80% of the outcome is the car, these people are not nearly as important as you think they are.
